I've always assumed that Anakin avoided contact with his stepfamily on Tatooine because he didn't want to be reminded of his mother's death, but it's an interesting idea that they actually kept in touch. I like how you showed both Anakin and Owen in a sympathetic light despite their conflict and how they eventually reconciled. I love the ending :)

I always thought that Owen was jealous that Anakin spent all his time in the war and the Jedi, especially of his friendship with Obi-wan which is why he hated Ben wanting to help out with Luke. good chapter.
