This story encaptures everything that makes the KID/Shinichi dynamic so much fun. They are of course rivals, and something more. Willing to go to great lengths for one another simply because it is who they are. The characterization here is just beyond perfect. Honestly couldn't ask for more!

This is such a simple story and yet the plot is very believable. In the end Shinichi Kudo capturing KID post BO is a scenario so often left to the wind. Then the idea of them actually meeting and becoming true friends with one another after all they have faced together just brings a certain warmth to my heart. Its so well played here and it really is truly fitting scenario.

Not much else to say really other than: well done :D I really enjoyed this. Thank you for writing this lovely piece.

Aww, they are super cute despite their age~ The revealing of KID's identity part really touch me. They have been through so much. You mention several of their meetings here (oh, I don't forget the prequel story of this one~). That's why I can really see how unique and warm their relationship is (and, ah, sorry, since I'm a KaiShin's fan, I was kind of misurstood their 'you love me' several times, haha. Forgive me?). Despite the uncomfortable feeling Kaito felt in the beginning... they've been friends and rivals since forever XD But, I like how Shinichi demands a friendship with Kuroba Kaito, not a phantom thief who can disguise as anyone ;D Yeah, overall, I like it~ They are super cute~ I love reading their little game~
