Im happy Provenza cared for his buddy and warned the Captain not to hurt him as he had been hurting for a long time.

forget about those who wpuld say 'they wouldn't act like that'. thats why it is a story... thr author can pen what she wants. if it is not to one's liking then dont read.
it's actually a fun one. giving a background story of andy and sharon.

I love the twist... it is possible that their initial temper and hatred for each other is either brought on by sexual tension or a love story gone sour in the past.

sounds exciting! can hardly wait for them to fall in love during this adventure.
