Hey! So, yes. Kara absolutely has a right to be sad and overwhelmed by what happened with Man-Hell at the end of the season. For sure. I am worried, though, that the show never acknowledged or is going to acknowledge the toxic parts of that relationship and keeps giving it a light of charm and ideal and first love? What do they mean first love? Is like season one never happened! You know I am not and never was a Karolsen shipper, but come on. It did happen and it was lacking the toxicity of karahell. And I am at awe of how racist the have been to James, seriously.
Anyway, Kara kicking Kal's ass is my aesthetic. Even though TV Supergirl's Superman is the only one I like (I'm not a fan of the guy), I think they managed to make him charming and not as selfrighteous. I'm still thrilled Alex didn't hesitate to remind everyone he did abandoned Kara in the worst possible moment (fresh off space).
Also, thank you for not forgetting Kara /is/ Winn's best friend, possible only friend until she dragged him into her family. It's like The CW didn't now about season 1

Ha, the cop and protective sides of Maggie are coming out even with Eliza. :) Big sister Alex on watch! Weekly is a lot Eliza; I'm laughing at the expression I think might be on Alex's face then, so good. "National City's Hero saves Metropolis." - I like this one; the Daily Planet article was probably good as well as Lois does not pull punches even for those she knows, it's something she and Cat share which they probably silently admire about each other because they could never say it to each other in a civil manner. Ha.

Bring on the game night! Apparently fixing Ikea furniture goes a long way with some civilians; "Stupid question, you trust everyone." - lol Snapper, it's true though. "Next time I solar flare I am botoxing." - ha, cute. A nice chapter and good story! I look forward to the next!

I loved it - that is the way season 3 should begin. SuperGirl needs her family and friends around - I just hope the writers realize that.
