I hope they will get a dinner after the battle of the citadel. You are such an evil person LOL for having a normal person fell in love for the tragic badass Shepard with a fate of a bad end. Welp still Thumbs up to me, eventhough a bit too fast paced for the development it's still in the acceptable range for my standard due to factors of what their types and such.

I'm a sucker for OC/FemShep fanfics, so obviously I'm loving this! :D The fact that the OC is a regular guy (who reacts to things realistically) and not a supersoldier/spy/assasin or something ridiculous gives this story a very unique feel, compared to the usual femshep pairing stories. If I had one criticism, it's that the chapters are a little short, but then again, you seem to be updating every 2-3 days, which is quite fast. Keep it up!

And yeah, this chapter was really good! Looks like Harry's going to be in the Citadel when it'll get attacked. Now that's gonna suck (for him)!

Interesting thing on the Ship Attack/Space Chess. I was thinking of making some sort of board game for the Salarians (that involves a bunch of shit because... salarians) that my main character in Where The Law Stands Tall plays because she's an autistic savant and can hack it.

The helmet thing...

I actually had something similar happen to me in Iraq where I had a triple-feed (three rounds loading at once into a single-round chamber) and couldn't fix it. This insurgent had an AK, and I had... a hammer. Seriously, best tool in the whole damn world is a 22oz Cobalt Roofing Hammer, steel shaft and rubberized grip. I threw it at him like Thor and nailed him in the forehead from a good fifteen feet away and knocked his ass out. I had actually pulled off my helmet if more ammo was needed, but thankfully the hammer worked. After that, everyone within the month were carrying roofing hammers ordered online and started carrying them. And they use to tease me for carrying a hammer and not a knife.
