A well done chapter. A lot happened in this one that is for sure. It was amusing to read that Blake's butt can be quite distracting to both enemies and allies if Sun and Ilia's reaction to it is anything to go by. On the less humorous note, the battle that took place at the docks was well done with many fights happening everywhere. Nicely done on being able to change viewpoints in order to capture all that took place with the various groups. Character development and interactions was also something that was done well with the JNPR team interacting with the opposite partner and understanding more about their personality and past. Ruby was shown to have a darker side to her and would do anything to protect her sisters who she consider to be hers and hers alone. Nicely done with various other characters as well as revealing who they are like Adam and how Ilia's personality changed due to Blake not being in her life. Despite all the tension and drama involved, the ending to the chapter was humorous and endearing. Thank you. Keep up the good work.

I’m... not sold on this Adam. I don’t see why you’d change his character in the way you did - He’s one of the most irredeemable villains in RWBY, after all.

You’ve made him Human, which is just strange in the face of it, as his entire character is defined by “Is a Faunus”.

You’ve made him misunderstood and unable to kill, which is literally the opposite of his canon self - the first thing we see him do is attempt to blow people up for just happening to work on a train.

You’ve made him Pyrrha’s brother... despite these two characters being as unrelated as physically possible...

...and basically substituted Ilia in his place. Hides their face, hates humans, kills because they can, obsessed with revenge, Yandere for Blake, the works.

I wonder why you didn’t simply keep Adam as he was, and go with the additional crazy Ilia.

Snapped Rubes is fun Rubes, hope to see more of her in the future. I can picture her absolutely planting Roman when they meet him next. Also interested to see what you do with Adam, personally I absolutely LOATHE him canonically, but you may have something entertaining here. Ilia is gonna be a barrel of fun going forward, she's definitely gonna be a stalker, looking forward to how things go with that. I also want to restate how much I am looking forward to Winter and Qrow's encounter, sparks are gonna fly, and not just from the bots he smashes.
