I was a wee bit confused by the timeline at the beginning of the chapter and why Kagura wasn’t kicking everyone’s ass since they drugged her. I’m not sure who the explosion was from though. Maybe Gintoki got Zura to help out and he’s going to be pissed too? But then that might take away from Okitas thunder. I do hope she gets to prove her awesomeness.
Excellent and fun writing! If Gintama were ever turned into a English book, I Good definitely see the narrator having this tone and humorous points. I always look forward to your writing - which also includes the next chapter. Thank you for updating!

Hahaha, I live for Gintoki being carefree on the outside and humorous, the "therapist" thing with Hijikata was slapsticky humor as well XD I'm very intrigued about Kamiyama being a spy and how the Shinsengumi's handling it discreetly and I gotta say, Hijikata yelling at Okita. there was applause. T'was a short okikagu interaction indeed but it pays well in its brevity because of all that tension and that dialogue served well to enhance that. Nevertheless, I'm enthusiastic to read what's to follow
