This was lovely, I’d been looking for a fic like this for a while and this was wonderfully carried out. I particularly liked the conversation between Edith and Anna because we never really get to see them together aside from that scene in S3. And the conversation with Thomas and Anna was so great as well and something like it definitely should have been included on screen. Thank you for writing!

Beautiful. I loved reading all the moments we didn't get to see and the interactions that we don't often see, especially last one with Thomas and the Edith one.

I enjoyed this so much (and it wasn't terrible at all!). Of course I love A/B fics but I really enjoy getting the other characters' take on their relationship, and to me it shows how epic their love really is :)

I really like how you took it chronologically (and will never complain about more time spent on S6), and I appreciated the use of characters we might not typically associate with Anna and Bates, such as Edith - which I thought was a great parallel to the scene in S3. I also liked Baxter as a perceptive and empathetic observer, and I think the Anna and Thomas scene from 6.8 was my favourite - very well-handled and sensitively written (and important to explore those feelings for Anna, as well as Thomas - I wish Fellowes would have done this kind of thing on screen).

The last scene was so sweet and I totally believe it happened :)

This was great! I'd love to see a full length one shot for the night of Baby Bates' birth.

I always enjoy stories that expand on the relationships in Downton outside of the obvious. Mary and Anna can’t help but become friends. Mary seemed to be closer to Anna than either of her sisters were.
Robert may be a bit clueless sometimes, but even he can see the link that binds Banna.
Thomas’ jealousy of Bates is palpable!
The conversation between Edit and Anna was very well written. Edith should know by now that Anna has all the answers ;)
The fact that Baxter understood what had happened to Anna makes so much sense the way you portray it. The ending of that section was superb!
Hooray Baby Bates is on the way. I wonder what the Carsons would think if they knew Lady Mary played a crucial role in making it happen. Hahaha on the rip on Cora.
Baxter is definitely a Banna fangirl.
The conversation between Thomas and Anna contains sorrow that is bone deep. Anna’s pep talk to Thomas was very heartfelt.
Daisy needs to read more biology lessons I’m thinking.
Carson not wanting to walk in on anything untoward or of a personal nature ;) I would have loved to see the new family interacting with the rest of the staff in canon.
