"God, Dean's beautiful." WHAT A LINE. And it doesn't even feel weird. Not one bit. It feels brotherly and full of love and admiration and respect and idk how u managed that bc if anyone else had written it it would have seemed slashy, but that's soooo not the case here.
Now this entire fic was some high quality hurt!Dean protective!Sam. I loved it.
I also really really liked the entire thing with the picture. How Dean didn't really blame Sam but couldn't let it show, and how Sam was like a puppy, craving forgiveness. And when he finally got it he was so happy and relieved and asdfghjkl awwww
And soulmates! YES THEY ARE.

Ok I’m not finished with this story yet but I have to tell you before I forget that in one of your other stories I think you refer to Sam and Dean as soulmates and I think it’s just sooo cute that people can have soulmates that are best friends instead of couples. Also your author notes at the ends of the chapters make me smile a lot 3
