I don't share that often that I read fanfiction. My brother and I swap hp stories and I have a couple other fandoms I read... Thanks for being brave enough to write and share. Making stories up in your head is one thing, sharing them another.

This story is good, but the run on sentences are VERY distracting. There are like three ", but"s or "although"s per sentence. Some are a paragraphh long with only one period. Maybe have someone go back and edit it a bit?

I did enjoy this story, I've followed you in case you ever come back and complete any of your other stories. They do look good and I enjoyed reading this one but I don't like to read incomplete stories. Please consider updating them and finishing them.

My granddaughter knows I love reading Vampire Academy fanfiction and she's teased me about it. We saved the movie to DVR and the kids loved it. They watched it dozens and dozens of times. One time the movie was finishing up and the credits were rolling by and I saw the movie was based on the VA novel by Richelle Mead. So I googled her and found out the book was part of a series.

So I googled the series and found it free to read online. I started with Frostbite since I'd seen the movie...lol. I never read the first book until I'd read the remaining 11 books plus some short stories. I ordered the 10th Anniversary Edition and finally sat down to read those new short stories and then the first book. Then, finally then, I realized why the book fans hated the movie.

But like I said, we'd watched it so many times. When I read the books, fanfiction too, I hear Danila and Zoey and Lucy, Dominic, Cameron, Claire, Gabriel, Joely, Sami, and Sarah saying the lines, I see their faces in the expressions I'm reading about, etc... To me the movie was a good movie, cheesy and too cheap but still, it was a good movie. Could have been a phenomenal movie if someone else had directed it.

So I spend a lot of time reading and re-reading VA fanfiction stories online.

Makes me think of the scene in "Ghost" where Molly/Demi Moore and Sam/Patrick Swayze were working the clay on the potter's wheel.

I always tear up when Rose meets Oksana and Mark. To suddenly have someone else that knows what she's going through, that she's not a freak and all alone in the world with darkness. It's such a good thing for her to find them.

This was a VERY good chapter.

She's young, in a non-traditional boyfriend/girlfriend relationship that is so complicated. She is going to act out and make mistakes because she's acted out for attention her whole life. Her mom abandoned her, she has Stan tormenting her, then along comes her Russian god who holds her soul in his hands. She's going to be a normal 17 year old girl sometimes.

I liked this interaction with Rose and Janine. They made a bit of peace due to Mia telling Rose if her mom was there she'd want to be with her. Then Rose asked for her mom and broke down. They've made some progress to this point. You captured it very well. Rose is still struggling with her abandonment and has hard feelings for Janine but she is Rose and can choose to be nicer even if it's for just a few minutes.

Wait, Mason was killed after Christmas, some time in January...they didn't go to the cabin until late February/early March. The attack was only a couple of weeks before her 18th birthday.

So I just realised that I've been reading all your stories in one go and I love them! Could you please carry this one on, just a bit to see Rose graduate and Dimitri proposing to her ? With the struggles of being caught and maybe even getting caught and getting in some trouble ? Please please please ! I love your writing style ! Don't leave us hanging ;)
