Such a lovely ending full of hope!
Even though all of these chapters were fairly short, you had me feeling whole wheels of emotions! I'd love to see where you take their relationship that you've built up (oh god the tension is incredible, the first kiss they share would be like New Years), if I'm honest I just can't wait for you to write more! I swear you've quickly become one of my favorite Ghost Hunt writers.

Honestly, this is so well-done. Everyone is completely in character and it just seems like the natural continuation of Naru and Mai’s feelings if it were to go this way. The way they’re interacting and how they’re coming to terms with their feelings for each other feels very real.

And on a less serious note, I’m also shamefully a sucker for jealous Naru. Can’t wait to see how this confrontation will go! Mai; you silly goose! You can’t seriously think Naru would say those things, or at least understand it’s coming out of a mouth that wants you to hate Naru.

So happy Ayako talked some sense into Mai and that she dumped Shinji. I don’t believe for one minute that Naru said Mai is useless and that she needs to find another job. What I can believe is that Naru told Shinji that if he hurts Mai he is a dead man walking! Things are going to be interesting when Mai confronts Naru. I hope it ends with Mai and Naru finally becoming the couple they should be. Update when you can. MaiXNaru forever!

I had to read straight through all five chapters before commenting because it was sooo good. I absolutely love the way you write the characters, especially Naru. In general, though, I adore your dialogue. Everyone felt very in character. Can't wait for the next update!
