Damn. These revisions are getting pretty real. Before the nightmare I could tell you’d done some changes but not what they were, and then the nightmare hit, and then this. You’re going all out on this.

I don’t really know if I like the revised or unrevised better. This new edition goes deeper and gets... rougher, I’d say. It’s good, I like it, but I wasn’t expecting it, you know?

I loved what you did with the crime scene, though. Call me a sadist but I was kinda disappointed when Ed didn’t go see the body the first time around. The new scene is something I’d really like to draw, maybe tomorrow. (Cough today cough)

Like I said in the first chapter revisions review, the new revised chapters are smoother and read well...I still love this story either way.

reads more smoothly and I do believe hotch gave a description of the two this time...I loved the original too...but as I said smoother reading.

I love the rewrite there are little details that weren't there before that add to this fic

So the biggest thing I dislike about the rewrite is the nightmare scene. While it is extremely well written, it gives the impression that Ed traded his gate for Alphonse, not a favor. Also, it seems to have very little to do with the rest of the narrative, unless PhoenixQueen is going to add more nightmares throughout the rest of the story.

Basically, if keeping the nightmare scene in, I would suggest that you add a line after it about Ed reminding himself that it was a favor, not his Gate, that he promised Truth. He could prove that to himself by doing a tiny transmutation or something.

But honestly, I loved the story before the revisions. I'm looking forward to the beta-ed version!

Glad to know this cause I had just started re-reading this last night but had to shut my stuff down and when I wake up the first chapter was suddenly changed. I was so confused.

That chapter one re write is glorious! It was great to begin with but now it's so polished it shines, great work!

Awesome story! I really loved it. Really interesting and every things falled in place nicely. I sensed more of a parental!Roy than a romantic type of relationship but I still enjoyed it a lot. Idk if the offer of little shots in the 13th chapter is still up, but I would like them very much :D
