Thank you for this! I binge watched this show so aggressively and so quickly I didn't realize that we didn't get enough of Silver and Madi until I got to the last episode. This was beautifully done, and I hope to see more of this couple from you!

Your words as they coincide with the story itself are simply mind boggling to me. With my minds eye, I can see their love story and revolution unfolding. I can't explain it fully where I think anyone would understand what I'm about to say because I'm not sure I do. I didn't even know that this Black Sails Series existed until a couple of weeks ago. I was drawn to a video which led me to BS and I have been transfixed ever since that first encounter. If by Divine appointment or by mere chance, I really cant say, but i choose to believe DA. There are some similarities between your interpretation of Madi and John's budding romance and the scenarios that have been playing out in my head long before i knew this series ever existed. There's this spiritual connection that I'm witnessing in myself due to your usage of similar words that have long since been a part of the vocabulary and dialogue going on in my head regarding my own life. Don't ask me to explain the similarities because they are too random to explain and comprehend at this point. As I read all four chapters, it suddenly occurred to me that I'm witnessing my own transformation of an area in my own life that I've been desperately running away from and perhaps didn't want to face. It's as if your fanfiction about a pirate love story and a revolution of an oppressed people is somehow bringing clarity to my own life and destiny. I wish I could explain it better but it is presently unfolding almost unmistakable through your words but not entirely. The vision has to be written and I understand that now. God says, write the vision and make it plain upon the table that others will read it. This is more than a love story; it's an awakening of two souls that are destined to be by no sheer will of their own but by Divine appointment for a far greater purpose than ever imagined. Please forgive me if I appear to be rambling; it is not my intention do so. I only know that I feel compelled to share this at this timw as it relates to my own life. Is it a coincidence or is it a divine appointment that a fictional character such as Madi and even John would have such an impact on an unsuspecting viewer and reader? If so, it is time for complete surrender to the task that lies ahead. I realize it makes no sense but I don't fully comprehend it myself. I only know that there is a connection between a fictional movie, your written word and the reality of this period in my life. I'm not even sure why I am using this platform to write it. Thank you. His Will Be Done. Keep writing; whether you know it or not, your word choices are profound to the point of prophetic. Thank you for sharing.

I appreciate how you voice the characters, it feels authentic, and I love the characterization of Kofi. Oddly, her interaction with Flint seemed to be the most amusing to me, but I have a deep appreciation for everything you have written so far and quickly followed and favorited the story.
