This story is making me fall in love with Newt all over and over again, and I love it. This is probably one of the best Fantastic Beasts stories I've ever read on this site.

It has such a TRUE feel to it. Raw and beautiful, with Newt's gentle perspective. I love it.

Ah, what a beautiful fic. This WAS emotional, and gratifying to read. I really REALLY love that scene in the film. I wasn't really invested in that romance, but the second time I watched it, I saw just how sweet their interest in each other was - like two adults who had never had the chance to be pre-teens or teens in love and were both treading on completely new ground, both so excited but trying to make sure they didn't let their excitement turn into impulse. You did just a phenomenal job translating that into this chapter. Great fic overall, and I appreciate that you wrote it! Thanks for giving me the chance to read it!

I really enjoyed this chapter! I wasn't entirely sure how this fic worked up till this point - I see now that it fits into the film's little epilogue scenes, and that makes it so much better! This chapter was really nice. I LOVE that despite Newt spending time with the two sisters, you worked it out so that the idea was Newt's from the beginning to end BUT that the three all had a hand in it. It feels so right to be that way. Lovely chapter, yet again. Sad but glad to read the next (last) one!

Holy crap, what a well written chapter. I am super impressed by how well you wrote Picquery. Like, just... wow. And Newt holding his own against her - it feels almost out of character, but it's NOT at all. He's one to stand his ground and do what he thinks is right, even if he is a simple person who has a hard time making eye contact and stutters a lot. I just love it so much. You really do Newt's character justice in this chapter (the whole fic). Love it!

Awww... wow. I wasn't sure what had gotten Tina so upset, but this was such a great way to characterize both her and Newt and show how close their values are to one another's. Fantastic chapter with a real natural, very realistic depiction of the two of them growing closer. I love it. I also have to wonder if Queenie picked up on Tina perhaps thinking of Newt a bit and decided to remove herself from the picture (as much as it might have hurt her to do so) in order to leave them alone.

Awww! I love this so much! It's so refreshing to see a fic that is fairly dramatic but doesn't use much drama... if that makes sense. The slice-of-life feel, and the getting-back-to-status-quo is so nice. For Newt, the chapter is especially sweet because we get to see how different and relieving this is for him. I really like it overall!

Another really great chapter! I just love the way you write Newt so much. It's a challenge, I think, to write his internal discourse because he's quite different, but I feel like you do a really good job of it. I look forward to the next chapter!

I always thought that the romance in Fantastic Beasts was a bit shoe-horned in and the farewell scene didn't fit, but you've bridged the gap and made that scene infinitely better.

In other words: I've accepted this as canon regardless of anything that happens in the next movie or whatever J.K. Rowling says.

This made me excited for the next Fantastic Beastsa and reminded me how much I love this ship. Thank you so much for this brilliant piece of art!
