Ruby should not be allowed a weapon. She doesn't use it anyway. Why she gets on a bullhead she suspects the bad guy is coming on then doesn't bother to disable it is a shmuck and is painless worthless. These kind of endings irritate me cause the hero ends up looking like an ass. That is not how they are supposed to look. I thought the writing format and flow were good, but I just can't get past the epilogue.

Great story. I don't know whether you plan to have a sequel or not but, either way, this has been an excellent read.

And so the light of our glorious leader has been dimmed, but not snuffed out and as long as he lives there will always be a spark of loyalty in the hearts of true Atlesians. On a more serious note this was a well done story. The villain was compelling and he fought to the end instead of groveling which I appreciate. I am very interesting in seeing the consequenses of Wiess's actions and just how hard they'll bit her in the ass.

Time for the life of team RWBY to move on from their Atlas Mission and try to make sure no else goes to war. Seems like Mercury will now lived the life of a renegade for now until he is caught by any member of team RWBY. Flynt and Winter should join the council to help recreate Atlas and make sure that Harbringers is destroy permanently. This was a really great story and nice of you to upload two chapters in one day, which made for a great Christmas gift. I want to know if this story will have a sequel or a prequel to it to show how RWBY defeated Salem or something else.

have him die and then look like an assassin or let him live and rot in prison for the rest of his life, I think Weiss really made the right decision. It would have also been great to see him by without that consequences happening to them. Their should be a tribute to all those soldiers that fought and died to save the real Atlas from Whitley's grasp.

Until now, I didn't quite understand Whitley's Semblance, but after watching Jessica Jones, I now know it's capabilities.

I can see Flynt being the new headmaster of Atlas after this story is over and glad to see them having some help from the people. Wow Mercury is really good and I wish h was always on the good guys side in the show because he got skills. Seeing Weiss single handily destroy that missle like that was an action movie moment and I bet Whitley is either calling to try to weasel a deal or tell them he about to surrender.

I guess that every soldier just lost all civilian friends.
And Atlas vs. the three other kingdoms will end badly.
Already (Altlas and Mistral) vs. (Vale and Vacuo) ended with a victory for Vale and Vacuo.

You also showed the reactions of all characters very well: Shitley can barely anymore after all these attack on his ego, the people are shocked and Yang yangry :)

Damn! Now that the world knows, Ruby's plan of no one knowing about Harbringer doesn't seem like it will work now that the broadcast has gone everywhere. Will the girls be angry with Mercury and Theo or will they see this as a good thing? I wonder how that will pan out? Also, Blake and Yang. What are they going to do? Join them? Or go after the other duo for 'lying' to them? I look forward to seeing how this will go!

That was kinda funny at the end, but… I really hope that was a cameo. I may be sounding like a broken record at this point, but I’m still waiting for Weiss’s chance to shine. If she can’t even stand out occasionally next to Ruby and Flynt, I doubt bringing the whole rest of the world in will help.

I reread this chapter 10 times and it keeps getting better every time I read it. Whitley was having a breakdown at first but right now I bet Whitley is having a major breakdown and losing his composure in front of his people. When Theo told Mercury that the block has been lifted, it can only mean that help may arrive for them. Finally an appearance from both Black and Yang and I bet they are shock and furious that they are on a dangerous mission without them.
