Not gonna lie, the finale gutted me. Like, what the hell Plec? I'm just glad to see initiative for other fans of the ship to rewrite it. This was very sweet, basically my ultimate wish fulfillment. In fact, I wish this was longer.

I thought this would make me happy but all it did was make me cry. I love Steroline and I have since season 2. [SPOILER] I've watched the series finale, and I just fell in love with the pairing all over again. I truly admire their love, because it's really hard to let go of someone and for Caroline to understand, respect and accept Stefan's decision o sacrifice himself, it's just really beautiful. I just wish they were able to say goodbye properly. (now i'm crying all over again) Reading this, I imaginedit to be Caroline's version of peace, what with her mom and all. So thank you for sharing this little story, it somehow made me cry and smile at the same time. Good job.
