The dude is four thousand year old history and the temple has several of his holocron sith and Jedi in their vault. But seriously they wouldn’t change their code which is not a code of conduct but a code of spiritual guidance.

I looked up Lethan Jedi on Deviant Art there's an OC called Kesarah Dilligas made by Crimsonight I think is the makers ID any ways Kesarah is a Jedi Shadow from his SWTOR.
