Love Jay and Barry fics! This was amazing :)

Wow. A lot more angst than I expected. It was really good, really well-written, but...wow. Good of Jay to step up like that but...now he's so sad. Maybe Earth-1 Team Flash should try to include him more? I mean, he WAS on their Earth for some reason, did they call him?

This is heartbreaking. I never thought I needed Jay Garrick angst, but wow. I think my heart stopped when Barry called him Dad and pleaded with him not to go, and then it splintered towards the end, when Barry had no idea what he'd just asked of him, when no one even notices him leave. This is beautifully written. Thank you for this.

Awww omg this is so sweet, yet sad at the same time? I don't see many stories like this, and I love the idea that Barry would mistake Jay for his father when injured or feverish. Amazing job as always, this is absolutely perfect

You're right, I am surprised by my need for Jay angst. I've never felt the need to read anything Jay-centric before this, actually. It's a welcome change from Barry angst. The premise brought me in and your writing kept me reading.

I agree I was surprised by my need for Jay Garrick angst. It's a weird situation sort of like Stein's current one of meeting a kid he never had and realizing some regrets about that.
