This is super dark and heartbreaking; it's true that dying is easy while watching people die (especially the ones you love) is life's true insult.

Immortality is always hard to approach in writing because- for one it's hella obscure. No one's ever been truly immortal- everyone has a different idea as to what it'd be like. You can be Edward Cullen and just go to a tonne of different schools and read all the books and learn piano... or you could be Mistoffelees who watches everyone he loves die and forever be trapped in his own personal hell. And of course you have to make this as absolutely painful as possible for all of us! Thanks a lot!

So what I'm curious to know about this is: what happened to Misto at the end. They invited him to the afterlife... but he didn't die? I'd imagine he didn't since he can't but what exactly was the rebirth in the cemetery?

I reeeeeally loved this story (as I love any and every thing dark) and thanks again for crushing my soul :D

Well, that was dark. And sad. And weirdly great! I'm having VERY confused emotions right now, but I know I love the story.
