I love how you depicted Lucy to end up saving herself mentally and physically, I like to see it as her being her own night and shining armor and it made me cry at the end with its subtle message: things might not be good now, but things change, they change and shift like waves being painted into a canvas, yes bad things are inevitable but it’s never permanent. I believe this would be called Regression to the Mean.
