Hi! This is a great story; I've finished all of it so far, but I thought I'd leave a review here. Have you ever read Ben Kane, Steven Erikson, Simon Scarrow? You write like a fully fledged author; your realistic and unflinching ability to kill off characters and write tragic, desperate, blood and shit bespattered battle scenes is what sets this story apart. Great job, when I look for ASOIF this is what I'm looking for.
I noticed you haven't updated A Storm Of Swords, are you planning to continue with that? I hope you do, this is fantastic!

Beautiful! The writing is just but a notch closer to Martin's. The description, explanation and thoughts of characters are layered like ink on parchment. They fit writing is smooth and elegant. The characterization is good but my lack of knowledge on Creesen is not that well so I cannot say. Very well done.

I'm sure that renly will find a way to mess things up somehow...

Why would Catelyn think she would be able to do anything? This was just stupid of her. She just acknowledged that Renly would be willing to let House Stark and Lannister destroy each other if it meant he would be King, and everyone knows Stannis's character. Why would she believe that her testimony of supporting Stannis's claim that Cersi's children are not trueborne will do anything, especially since every "proof" that she has is speculation. I guess its just Cat being Cat then, instead of turning back to home she does something she's not suppose to do.

This is an awesome story, one of the best I've read. I just have a minor quibble though. In the original, Renly's Rainbow Guard went by alliteration
Robar the Red, Brienne the Blue, Guyard the Green, Parmen the Purple, and then he just stuck Bryce and Emmon with orange and yellow because he didn't have any friends with O and Y names. But here it seems you've stuck them randomly. Not that it even matters. But I thought it was cute and indicative of Renly's childish and playful personality.

Is Loras dead? That would explain Renly's bitterness. Nice looking story - I like a 'King Renly' fic which doesn't whitewash him
