Nice! I'm a bit sad that Theo is the bad guy - personally I'd much rather someone so bad to be unknown, but that's me I guess. You've reduced the tension between them a bit in this re-write, which is less tingly but also a lot more realistic in the long game. I'm looking forward to what you write next!

I don't think I like the direction this story took. Don't get me wrong, I'm fine with (and expected) the story to get dark, but it's very disconcerting when you tell us that Marinette without her powers is just as strong as she was when she was younger with them, and then show her as Ladybug absolutely destroy a group of armed robbers in a bank, to her getting nearly raped by one guy who she wasn't even surprised by. Uh, what? To me it sounds like a contrivance of the plot to make Chat look like the hero, and, I'm sad to even have to say this, female protagonists getting almost raped (or even raped) in darker stories, especially fanfiction, has become a cliche. There are better ways of showing a story is 'dark' than resorting to a rape scene.

This isn't to say the story itself is bad, I just wish you used other methods to bring Marinette and Chat closer and personally had different ideas as to where this story was going from chapter one.

I wanted angst. I begged for REAL angst. Damn if I didnt get it. Thank you for filling the void. MORE PLEASE.
