If only this is how their reunion had happened in the comics (minus the baby and Tarantula stuff, though it would have been nice to have SOMEONE care about Dick's assault)...

i dont know if you ever watched the show young justice but they touched on the roy harper heroin thing and i think they did a better job in hindsight with the not abandonning him thing. the had sort of and intervention but he pushed away. i would love to see more of this! i think dick needs to seek help professionally but that's dificult for many reasons mainly him being who he is and all the secrets.

so far this is by far one of the best dc fanfics i have ever read! i am speechless! you think of everything. i love how you write the characters so in character and true to themselves. sooo many authors have issues with writing the bat family either they are too sappy or too emotional or completely unhuman. you write them with the perfect balance

This fic is honestly fantastic! I absolutely love it, thank you so much for all that you have written and posted. The emotions and reactions from Jason and Dick seem genuine and possible within the parameters of their situations, and I love the relationship between them and the happiness they are bringing to each other.

I can't wait to read more and I dearly hope to see this continued!

OMG This was really good! I was skeptic about this as he had a daughter but I’m glad I read on! I can’t wait for the next update, I really want to now how this all adds up and what Roy would do. I’m lovin this! :D

Really great story! I love the idea of Dick holding onto his Romani roots and singing the same lullaby his mother must have sung to his own daughter. Also, really adore the relationship between Tio Jason and Jaye. So. Darn. Cute!

this is a really great fic. I can totally see things going this way for Dick. If he doesn't reach out (and he can't in his state) Bruce (and Barbara) will never realize how bad off he is.
And I never doubted Dick would do anything for his daughter, no matter what her mother did to him. Being forced (almost) to do it alone will destroy him, though. He needs not only love but a loving touch as much as he needs to breathe.
I also like your Jason. The first chapter is just how I picture him: caught in his own perceptions until something breaks it, but then struggling to go through it with suddenly new paradigms.
I'm looking very much forward to the next chapter.

Chapter one was dizzyingly perfect, viewing everything through Jason's confusion. And Dick's terror for his daughter is gut wrenching, with his singing to her and then dragging himself around half-dead to protect her. And Jason beginning to realize he still loves his brother.

And I've just finished chapter two. And I don't know what you hoped it would be, but it's beautiful. Utterly beautiful. I feel so much for both Jason and Dick.

And for your notes... Jason got raped? I just looked it up and :((( That's messed up.

Holy crud this is deep and every bit of angst I needed tonight 10/10
