Awesome to see this rewrite. While I can't remember the original that must, I do hope we get to see more of the negative effects of being the forced perfectionist of the family and the pressure it puts on one's mental health as well as Georgie not being completely perfect at everything. I do wonder if this is going to be a slowburn as well. Cant wait to see how the story plays out.

YES, IT'S BACK ! You've just made me a very happy person, just so you know. It's the fanfic that made me first discover you and I was obsessed with it !
I'm here for more back and forth between Sirius and Georgie, the rivalry with Remus, the blooming friendship with James, the family drama (the Valentines' dynamic was really entertaining), etc. AND I WANT TO KNOW WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED TO SERA SELWYN DURING THE SUMMER TO MAKE HER GO TO THE DARK SIDE. The only complaint that I had with the previous draft was that, at the end, it felt like Georgie was really a missus perfect with good grades, good looks AND Quidditch. I even understood the jealousy of Georgie's brother when she even blew everyone away with Quidditch lol
So looking forward to this rewrite xxx

I'm surprised that I didn't find this fanfiction sooner. I definitely love the way it's going. It has a different sort of aura to it—the character representation is amazing, but they're still slightly different and it's more original. I haven't seen a cross-house romance in a while, or since your one-shot, I suppose.

I cannot stress to you enough how good all your books seem to be (given that I've only read the Harry Potter ones, but I'm sure your others are also very great). All of the major things you need to have to write a great fanfiction are here, and have been since the very beginning. The minor details, the intertwining plotlines that continue to make sense because of things mentioned earlier in the story that no one necessarily gives thought to are here. In all of your books.

If you continue this story, then I'd be very happy to see it and watch it along with the rest of your projects. They're all too good for any words my Sirius ridden mind can come up with right now. :)

just finished this story and, as expected, i'm honestly in love! i can relate a lot to georgie's struggles with her parents' academic expectations of her (the joy of having immigrant parents lol) and i love that she's learning to do things for herself and be a little more reckless. james and his puppy crush are adorable, and of course sirius is super well-written.
(also: i love that quote about james being the "mother hen" when it comes to outcasts, it's honestly so true even if he was a douche in his earlier years at hogwarts. now i'm just imagining him as a fretting helicopter mom lmao)
that author's note about not getting too comfortable is making me very nervous, but i'm looking forward to the next update!

starting this story after "a burnt marshmallow" and i'm loving georgie alreadyyy
you're really good at building up characters and making them both admirable and relatable! her weakness for sirius's prettiness is so cute and i love how calm and businesslike she is when she has to be :0 and i really like how she's a bit fascinated with the marauders, i feel like i'd be watching them a lot too if i attended the same school as them (that wasn't meant to sound creepy but i feel like there's no wording that doesn't sound weird lmao)
anyways, i'm excited to read the rest of the story!
