Reviews for Friends to the Ed
Ms. Dragon Reader chapter 1 . 5/30
I remember Edd, ed, eddy growing up as a kid it was one of my favourite shows. I always thought double d was a girl for some reason lol. Either way I like the one shot.

I kind of got furious at double d parents for saying Double d needed better friends. When they we're never around to start with, so I'm happy to see double d making the right choice. After all who needs to be popular when you have two loyal friends beside you.

Amazing fanfiction. I love Ed, Edd n Eddy's friendship and their dynamic as a team.
Protoestrella1 chapter 1 . 12/8/2016
I loved your fanfiction; it was really touching! It's in favorites already. Oh and I agree with the Guest. I'm sure Double D would have had problems with the other kids anyway. But what I loved about Ed, Edd and Eddy is that they all have so many differences between them. Considerable differences I mean, and that's perfectly fine! So in other words... They are the perfect team! They support and care for each other. Best friends indeed.
Yeah, you're right. Like brothers.
Thumbs up!
Guest chapter 1 . 11/27/2016
Oh, I almost forgot: I also like to think that another reason why Double-D stays friends with them is that, assuming he was bullied in his old town, he knows exactly what it's like to be bullied and shunned, and he wouldn't wish it on anyone, especially Ed and Eddy. Even THEY do not deserve to be left all alone. This just makes it more inspiring that he always stands with them, no matter what they go through. Plus, the fact that the other cul-de-sac kids are not exactly the nicest kids (not that the Eds, especially Eddy, are saints, but the other kids are arguably even worse), and it's no surprise why Double-D doesn't want to be friends with the other kids. He secretly doesn't trust those other kids, no matter how respectful he is towards them, and as far as he's concerned, they are no better than the bullies in his old town. The way he sees it, people just need to open their eyes and see what he sees in Ed and Eddy.
Guest chapter 1 . 11/27/2016
This is a very sweet Ed, Edd n Eddy one-note; of course, Double-D would NEVER think to abandon his best friends, Ed and Eddy. And I love how he ultimately doesn't care what everybody else thinks, and stands by his friends no matter what. Because ultimately, the fact that the Eds are always there for each other no matter what, is still more than can be said for anyone else in their lives. On a side note though, (no offense intended), people tend to forget that if it weren't for Ed and Eddy, Double-D would always be cooped up in his house all day doing chores or some other shit; nobody else in the cul-de-sac (has ever (or would ever) do that for him. Plus, and I know not a lot of people are gonna agree with me, but I had the sense that even if Double-D was NOT friends with Ed and Eddy, he would NOT have been able to be friends with the other cup-de-sac kids anyway; true, there are some times when they seem to tolerate him more than the other two Eds, but they never seemed to have any problems bullying and abusing him as much as Ed and Eddy. The way I see it, this would've been due to him being too much of a nerd, not to mention being prone to being spazzy, perfectionist, overreacting, and OCD tendencies. Due to these personality quirks, he would've most likely been ostracized anyway, with or without Ed and Eddy. Just giving my own two cents. But that aside, this is a very nice and sweet one-shot that perfectly captures Double-D's friendship with Ed and Eddy; they're his best friends, and he wouldn't have it any other way.
