So, they take her clothing for analysis, and instead of returning it afterwards they destroy it? Did they have any actual reason for it, or were they just lazy?

It's not only theft, but destruction of personal property.

What did they do with the clothing she arrived in? Destroy it? Was it badly damaged? Contaminated?

I know that I'd have ten fits if someone removed my clothing while I was out if it, and then destroyed it. And I would expect proper compensation.

I just reread this (and apparently already had a review on ch17). Just because. I noticed in your comment replies that you're having trouble writing, so I hope that real life stuff resolves itself and that you update. When you update doesn't really matter, as long as you (please please please) don't abandon this fic!
