That must be so rough. I can't even begin to imagine the pain and horror of what she went through and hope that the number of people that lose a loved one so young especially wanting them so much is a very small number.

I think you updated both stories at the same time and got the chapters switched? Max has nothing to do with this story at all, unlike the other one which has a Luke/Lorelai conversation.
