Damn. I have to admit; the contrast between the title and the summary here really captured my attention – even before I began reading. I mean, the way you wrote that summary? Foreshadowing major angst, for sure. But, then, coupled with a title like that? Yeah, I wasn't sure quite what to expect – and I loved that. Way to build up the anticipation! ;)

As for the fic itself….ooh, nicely done! A bit of angst, a bit of humor, and lots and lots of friendship/brotherly-moments – all layered on top of a rather tragic and heartbreaking plot (let's face it; everything with Gray is tragic). Not to mention all the metaphors and throwbacks to your earlier fics/headcanons (THE HOT CHOCOLATE, hahaha). Oh, this was such a treat.
The beginning was angsty, of course, and had me searching for clues as to what was really going on with Gray, which you know I love. ;) And the fact that everything was from Natsu's POV….especially when he first saw Lyon….yeah, definitely an added bonus. You know I'm such a sucker for that, haha xD
Seriously, though; the way you write his perspective on Gray, as well as Gray and Lyon's relationship….I just can't get enough of it. I've said it before, but I just adore how you portray their relationship (and their personalities themselves, of course) – it goes straight to my heart. And this? Honestly, this was just perfect. The interactions between Gray, Natsu and Lyon here….the banter, the bickering, the more serious, heartwrenching conversation…..everything. I loved everything. And, gods, the way you transitioned between those moments so flawlessly…..oof, this was a masterpiece. And, christ, that's even without taking all the symbolism into account…..and Gray and the constellations – which, oh, my heart…. just broke me. That was both heartbreaking and so, so beautiful. And the ending….Again; so beautiful. 3

Needless to say, I really, really loved this piece. Profoundly. Breathtaking work, hon 3 3

That was one of the most touching stories i've read and i loved both chapters the same! Such a sweet story.

I love this so much! Gray and Natsu’s friendship is one of my favourite things from Fairy Tail and you get it so right!
I also really like Gray and Lyon’s brother-like relationship. It’s kind of hard to find many stories that have it without Gruvia or the whole love triangle thing.
I can’t wait for the next chapter!

Lyon and his inability to make hot chocolate is *beautiful* and I love it.

This was very nicely done. I liked the first half, but the second half was definitely funnier. I think I enjoy Natsu and Lyon ganging up to pick on [read: take care of] Gray now more than ever. XD

And I do really like the star-symbolism here. I love the stars and astrology [moreso the science than the whole zodiac and fortune-telling parts] and make a point to go star-gazing now and again, when I'm not utterly swamped by life in general. X3

Well, I admit, I thought this second chapter was going to be half-baked; and detract from the first chapter. But this really made the story so much better, I wish we had more purely friendship stories like this. It really explored Natsu and Gray's friendship, and Gray's character. Stories like this are why I'm glad I picked up Fanfiction, I really wish stuff like this was canon sometimes, it'd give such amazing characterization to these two, and explore their friendship more. I'd even say it portrays friendship better than the canon does much of the time. I especially loved how you portrayed Natsu, poor dear is a bit (very) slow, and ignorant, but just that, he is ignorant, and not helmet-wearing stupid; as some stories and people like to portray or see him as. I'm definitely going to be checking out other works of yours, this fandom could really use more stories like this.

Yesss! (Sorry for the late review) I loved the ending so much! And you really added a perfect amount of humor, I actually read all of it in their voices. This is one of the best fanfics I've ever read, and it only took you two chapters to write such perfection! You're an awesome author, keep up the good work!

I love Lyon and love everything about him. If think your portrayal of him here is spot on - especially his reluctance to give a definite answer to whether or not he will continue to speak to Gray. I quite like his reluctance, I've always liked the idea that they're really close but really far away.

Always some really cute and funny moments. This is a slightly more acceptable level of cute. I do wonder if an ice Mage can get hypothermia... he certainly doesn't seem bothered anyway!

hahah so according to the A/N this will be a strange (?) chapter, let me dig in to judge, and yeah i was really wondering the last chapter where were the stars?

for once i agree with natsu , all starts look the same to me, but i get what gray is saying also it been a long time since i look at a starry sky, hahaha a lizard...it feels both like a compliment and an insult at the same time, i am really curious weather you did a research to right this story or if you had the knowledge about the stars already without research? it is quite detailed that it feels it either took you a long time to write this chapter or that this is your hobby? wait and forgive me for being an idiot but it sounded to me that gray didn't have a star for himself but then suddenly he said cygnus? did he think about it on the spot or was he bluffing when he told natsu why would i need a star? hypo-whatever is really scary i'm kinda glad it doesn't snow where i live. hahah the discussion about the hot chocolate ! it reminded me when shops use water in hot chocolate ! i mean seriously you need to add milk! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO why is natsu telling lyon about the star thing? i mean honestly i would be mad for days if i found out since the whole star conversation sounded like a secret to me, natsu might as well went to the guild and made an announcement to the whole members about it because , to me, that's how much damage he have done! ok i see what you mean in the A/N natsu does sound smarter (?) in this story than he usually is. huh how does lyon know what cygun mean if he knows nothing about stars? i mean i know nothing about stars and i never heard about cygnus before today? gray is surprisingly more tolerant than me, oh i see how he was chasing the stars! does me figuring out what the title mean because of the last couple of sentences mean that i'm actually an idiot? haha it's nice how this story came a full circle and ended with a fight! honestly sometimes i wonder how bad lyon's hot chocolate tastes? i mean there was this vending machine that had a watery thing they dare call hot chocolate and i doubt lyon's product is any worse than that! i see u did the research on stars, tbh i wouldn't have been patient and would've went with a different theme so kudos for having the patience to look at small similar dots and symbolize their differences!

omg this was so cute I justIt was so cute. I really loved it the whole way through, and Lyon and Natsu trying to come up with theories- that was funny.
"Ice isn't white, you fool!" And the ugly duckling thing and all that symbolism- gay you're messing with my head o_O But at the end, was Gray not a little bit more... open, I guess? I mean, he didn't really fit a lot with how he was acting before, especially with all those metaphors in his sentences and everything. Turning into Augustus, this boy XS
