Alrighty, so, reviews (Something I'm not the best at). Overall, I enjoyed this fic a lot. Harrison is a very relatable protagonists with a unique perspective in this war, world, and plot (a plot I'm extremely unfamiliar with and this is my first exposure to it, so please keep that in mind). His balancing act of trying to play both sides of this war, in essence, is intriguing, and I'd love to see that explored further. He is also a thrill to read when he is talking science with the rest of the cat (Harrison x science OTP! :P)

Harrison's relationships with the main cast are also a highlight of this fic. I especially love his interactions with Camilla and Sakura. Personally, I ship him with Sakura, because I think its too adorable. He also has strong moments with Hana, Corrin, and towards the end of the fic Takumi as well (Although I want to punch him at times lol)

If I do have one criticism, it is that there are moments where I'm reading dialogue, but I do not see the character speaking that dialogue. I just see the dialogue. I think that comes down to A) my lack of familiarity with Fates, thus not being familiar with the characters, their mannerisms, or how they even look, and B) a lack of physical description to go along with some of the characters. This usually occurs with more minor characters, and it is not a problem I see when it comes to Harrison, Sakura, or Camilla. But I do think it is something that can be improved upon, even for future projects (That 3H SI is something I'm very much looking forward to.) In order to fix this, try inserting some mannerisms into your dialogue tags. A character brushing their purple hair, for example. Someone rubbing their chin, fingers stroking along fresh stubble. Little details like that will really help give the fic even more life, and cleverly put character descriptions into the story without going into a exposition word salad about it. And I will say, this did improve tremendously overtime during the fic, especially from about ch 35 onward. That is a testament to your persistence, skill, and growth as a writer.

Overall, I'm having a lot of fun reading this fic, and I'll do my absolute best to keep up with future updates to it. I'm really looking forward to the next chapter too! Great job with this one Vale. I can absolutely see why this is a staple in the FE fanfic community!

what FE class would Harrison classify as (and since he has a sword and a gun now and is ever so slightly charismatic or as charismatic as he is at the very least, would be hard to say that his class is swashbuckler hell I could see Tactician as his class since as of now he is that at the moment even if didnt really want to be.)

Also I'm am curious what gonna happen on the way to Izumo, Nohr is looking for their princesses, Harrison is trying to comfort Camillia and keep the trashfire that he has chosen alive and channel his inner Corrin to keep it from going completely belly up.

Camilla's past is as dark as she is gorgeous. Even this tidbit she gives us is enough to have my heart go out to her - not that she would accept that. It's going to take Harrison a while longer to get her to truly come around. But after everything he's been through, and is planning for, I think he's more than up to the task.

What excitement that has found the group! It bodes ill for the rest of their journey, but it provides us things to mull over as we continue. What is Camilla thinking? Or Takumi? How close is Corrin that Nohrians are searching here for her? And I wonder how Yukimura and the others are doing right now. Things are still super tense. But, at least they have each other - and with how both Camilla and Takumi are acting, they're at least SORT OF bonding! Progress is still progress!

Excited for what this all means for the rest of the story!

Awesome chapter, even if there was fighting it does feel a bit like a breather chapter!
Camilla needs a hug :V Though I guess all the nohrian sibs do... It'll be good to see Harrison help her with improving her self image. The fact that he and Sakura managed to stop her from being stab happy on their prisoner is a good sign as is!
It's nice to see everyone team up, as well as Takumi slowly starting to get along with everyone else! Seriously the moment when he argued for the team's sake was a good one. (Character development!)
All in all I liked what I saw and I'm looking forwards to what's next! (be it from this fic... or the 3H SI)

Camilla seeing herself evil reminds me of Dimitri in FE3H being remorseful of his sins in AM route. I hope Camilla would be able to overcome her guilt and self-deprecation too.

As for mixed valence, I wonder how will you make a FE3H fanfic? Will you aim for a golden ending? Or will you create a 5th route while adding another House which eschews most magic for guns and artillery?

Been too long since I had the last review! Really love the interaction and characterization of Camilla towards Harrison, It's great in tackling the nobility system that the Nohrian siblings had to endure pre and now Canon that is really messed up. And Camilla certainly didn't expect for Harrison to not just give up on him. Anyway! Wow! Just this one fic have been too long and still standing! Thumbs up and Keep up the good work! /Looking forward to see the next one!
