Despite this being a romantic piece, the way you described what happened to Magnus during the class was my favorite part of the story. So much so that I wished it was longer and we got to see him grow as a person as he continued taking the class and it made him, well, different.

This is great. It's nice to see Magnus finding something to do, especially since to the death isn't really his thing.
