normally I don't like time travel fics, but this is a good one

all in all, characters seem believable considering the what if scenario provided by this fic, this fic addresses the butterfly effect of applying changes to events in a believable manner, also I am a sucker for KallenXLelouch

The teen took a second to organize her thoughts before clearing her throat, "I came to speak to you about Zero." At this, Cornelia's eyebrow rose, a wave of her hand prompting the pinkette to continue, "It's about what he spoke to me about while I was held hostage at Lake Kawaguchi... About how you have been keeping something from me..."

Cornelia's eyes widened as she realized she was caught and while she didnt know the specifics, each was a landmine in it's own right, "What do you mea-" The Vicroy tried to dismiss only to be cut off by the pinkette.

"What I mean is you have been withholding information about Zero from me! Specifically his relations to our own bloodline!" Cornelia slightly gasped at this, though her surprise was quickly subdued. With how liberal Zero had been with sharing the information on his origins, it wasn't a far shot that he wouldn't have kept it a secret from Euphimia when given the chance.

I was wondering... Is Zero trying to bring distrust and enmenity between the sisters, or is this an attempt to bring them closer together by putting them in the know? Because I feel like it's the former. If he wanted to he could spread misinformation and fake news that could turn them into enemies.

Euphimia wanted to believe Cornelia, though she knew better at this point. While yes, she didnt doubt what her sister said about Zero being all she had known, she knew she was omitting various other details. Those could wait however, judging by how busy everyone seemed today, they was going to be an operation soon. The princess stopped walking, a frown forming as she thought about what that entailed. More people would die. And she was stuck within the settlement unable to stop it.

It's also interesting how you're making Euphimia even more shrewd and perceptive than usual. Quite refreshing really. Would funny if she's the one to see through all of Zero's plans kekeke!

not paying attention as she walked, bumping into someone as she rounded a corner.

"Oh, I've been looking for you."

This surprise encounter is interesting. I wonder what it can entail. But if anyone can just bump into her like that then her security detail is quite lax.

Kallen walked out of her bathroom, a towel wrapped around her body as she dried her hair. She had been either at home or attending school the last few days, and honestly it had been refreshing. While yes, her step mother was being a royal pain in the ass, she had been able to improve her mother's situation steadily. She had been making it a point to speak with the woman when she could and to help improve her situation with the other staff members.

I wonder what sort of abusing things her mother goes through when she's not around... Makes me wonder how she can even hope to improve her mother's situation...

"Why apologize? I choose this path, I while I might not know where it'll take me, I knew the risk." Zero patted the red head on the shoulder, "I appreciate you sentiment though."

Interesting... This Zero is more indulgent, empathetic and compassionate. Dare I say, he's even tolerant too. Its an interesting side of him to see as long as it doesn't compromise his new plans. Would be interesting if he could tolerate certain peoplehe once never gave much attention to before more than usual.

Kallen burst through the door, her anti-personal machine gun rapping as she showered the smugglers with lead.

So is she now killing people or is she taking Batman no kill stance again? I am quite confused with this vague line.

She had quickly done a search in the back room and was relieved that her mother wasn't among the various addicts. A frown settled on her face as they cheered about various different events in their past.

Maybe I missing something I forgot, but why would Kallen's mom be among the Refrain drug addicts? Is this really canon? I don't remember. If not then it's not a problem as it raises the stakes so to speak.

He took off hks mask as he approached the sleeping girl, placing a small kiss on her head before taking her hand.

"Kallen, come on." Lelouch said warmly, his thumb trailing a small circle into the back of her hand.

The red head stirred slightly, gripping his hand tighter as she pulled him a bit closer, "What?" Her voice groggy from the unexpected nap.

Lelouch sighed as his smile slowly became more mischievous, "Kallen, you can't sleep here all day, what would Nunnally think?" the Demon Emperor slowly sitting next to her on the couch.

Slowly, Kallen began to stir, slowly sitting up and wrapping her arms around her king, "Shut up, tomorrow's saturday."

Awww... I was quite surprised and disappointed they didn't tease each other more in a lewd manner. Damn shame... Perhaps in the future then. I will hold out for that. Hehe!

All in all,it was an interesting plot building and character development chapter. I liked how Lelouch is still maintaining his school relationships, although it will be funny when he starts using his maid as his body double at school the anime lol. Its also starting to feel like someone my foil his plans too.

Yeash! Hakuna Matata! No Worries! I noticed that too. There's been a lot of build up to something. Like Chekhov's gun being "fire" so to speak. Some eventual inevitable climax to the some plot lines. I am just glad Orange boy is safe until Narita. Would be a shame if something were to happen to him earlier than expected. Also, I hope Suzuka finds the mysterious person he's on the hunt for. And that bad feeling Allen has? Gave me goosebumps. I am also liking the POV switches. Helps to see the bigger picture so to speak. So much foreshadowing on this chapter alone! How tantalisingly titillating!

Oho?! Hehe! There is no one more loyal than Sayako the supermaid, whom even her wiki says she's absolutely loyal to only Lelouch. Even after he uses his Geass in her and even though she's Japanese and he's Britannia. I guess Orange didn't get the memo Fufufu. I doubt even he would play the part of Lelouch's body double at school while he is away on missions lol. Or being able to fight Suzuka to a standstill due to both being equally matched as a result of their martial arts prowess.

More so, I find it interesting that Lelouch has chosen Allen to be the first to see him removing his mask instead of Sayako. I just hope Sayako does join the Black Knights officially like in the anime and learns of Zero's true identity too. Her shinanigans are rather comedic and amusing too. That and I have a maid fetish too Fufufu ( ͡ ͜ʖ ͡)

Welp! Lovely chapter. Loved the things being set up. But I gotta wonder, why did Allen say the walls have eyes only for Lelouch to enter the same room whilst spouting all their plans and their involvement in said plans? Is that club room secure from listening devices or not? Maybe Zero should have Sayako the maid pay that club room a "visit" and give it a thorough "clean up" of all the dirt(read: unconfirmed listening devices) and give it her supermaid's stamp of approval! Man... The more I think about Sayako, the more I am reminded of Roberto from Black Lagoon. Now SHE was true supermaid's. Why are maids in anime always super loyal? Like the maid in Cross Ange: Rondo of Angel and Dragon or Rem and Ram from Re: Zero? (Pun intended!) Or even Rance's maid!

Ah well... If feel like I could talk about anime maids for hours! So in the interest of keeping this "review" short(er) I will end it thusly.

It's too soon to say anything right now. Why? Because it seems like this chapter was seeding in some new plot points as well as expanding on previously established ones. So I will wait till next chapter to see how these proverbial seeds"* grow and develop.

But all in all, yet another lovely chapter. I can't wait to see how the Cornelia arc progresses. Then again I am probably biased on this since she's my waifu in Code Head hehe.

Welp. I am royally disappointed in Zero not putting Cornelia under a Geass. I can't believe CC and Zero passed up such a wonderful opportunity if mind controlling a princess and have her feed them too secret intel. Especially, more so because of how much of a better ally she would be.

Noice chapter! A bit shorter than usual but it's fine. I just hope Cornelia will play a bigger role. Or rather that she will be under a Geass command sooner. Her high ranking and royal privilege and prerogative mean she is a much more useful sleeper agent that Suzuka and Orang boy.

So I hope you don't neglect and waste her potential. I almost thought that in this chapter she was going to get subverted sooner. Oh well... I shall wait and hope avidly.

It's unfortunate that he can only bring back the memories of only 5 people of his choosing. Wish it were at least double or maybe a dozen.

As for chapter. I was entertained. The chapters do tend to have typos like Jeremiah's name being a little misspelt. But they're minor enough that it doesn't interfere with the flow of the story.
