"Sister figure". Welp, that killed it for me.

Hi there! You know what else I really like about this chapter? That Zeb's flaws are actually called out, albeit briefly. In the actual show Zeb was way too harsh and cold to Ezra, constantly threatening him, bullying him and even casually mentioning that he wants to kill him! So when he selfishly leaves Ezra behind and feels "guilty", and "regret", I didn't give a single FUCK about him, because he never really changes from the experience, and even votes to ABANDON Ezra to rot in the Star Destroyer! I'm not saying that Ezra and Zeb should've been instant pals, but SOME kind of positive interations would've been nice.

But back on track, while Zeb does feel reluctant about going back for Ezra, I like that Chopper scolded both him and Sabine, it was really funny, but even after that, he still tags along and immediately gets Ezra out of danger. It shows that, even with him not wanting to go back, he still does, both out of loyalty to his friends and to make up for his mistake. I love how he just rushes in there to protect Ezra, not even bothering to fire back at the Stormtroopers, because he cares for Ezra THAT much, which is really sweet and touching! Thank you, BlueManiac359, for making Zeb much more likeable and his friendship with Ezra more endearing!

Hi! I'd just like to say, that the reviewer named "Guest" is...*drum roll* ME! Yeah, sorry I accidentally forgot to put my username while writing and I realised to late what I'd just done!

But onto more serious matters, I have a friend named LordOzaru23, that's wher the qoute "Reach out your dream and unleash your imagination" comes from, when I sent a message to him, I lied to him about my real name. I won't reveal my real name, but the fake one is "Jen Nunez", but everything about my likes, dislikes and passions are real.

I feel really bad about what I did, I made it up, because I hate my name and hope to change it soon, but I don't know what to say, if he'll reject me, since he has a history of friends who betray his trust.

Aola and Oola are back? YES! I really love this chapter, for developing Ezra and giving more insight into his past with Aola and Oola. Have you watched The Lion Guard? It's got likeable characters, great animation, amazing songs and for a Disney Junior show, it doesn't talk down to kids or shy away from dark subject matter!

Anyways, in the pilot movie "Return Of The Roar" there is a song called "Kion's Lament" which is about Kion doubting himself as a leader of the Lion Guard in the first half, but in the second half, after a pep talk from Mufasa's ghost, he regains the will to keep going! It's really good song, Max Charles, Kion's voice actor, is actully a pretty good singer!

If you could incorporate this song into the fanfic that'd be brilliant! I think this song fits Ezra perfectly, since he's got long way to go before he can blossom into a confident and brave Jedi!

Great chapter! Really enjoyed reading another chapter of your awesome fanfic!

Wow. This fanfic was really good! As a huge Rebels fan, I really liked the way Ezra was written, you were able to make him insecure and timid, but still very likeable and relatable, despite his slave backstory, which adds some depth to his character. As for the crew, what bugged me in the actual show, was that in the first episode, they didn't really care for Ezra, with the exception of Hera and Sabine. Don't believe me? Oh, let me count the ways...

They largely ignore him, with most of their interactions either treating him as a liability, barely talking to him or bonding with him. Also, Zeb leaving Ezra behind, while it was a very contrived and selfish action, could've developed him a bit, but while he shows some regret, he doesn't apologise or face any consequences for his actions! I get that they were more focused on their mission, but later on when they go back for him, I didn't feel like they really cared about him, they just went back...because potatoes.

But you actully made the crew act more like a Space Family, empathising with Ezra, protecting him and it's charming, endearing, and touching, to a point I was smiling from ear to ear! You even managed to make Zeb likeable and while he still did leave Ezra behind, it genuinely affects him and he didn't leave for the sake of being a dick, he left because if he did shoot Agent Kallus, he would use Ezra as a human shield and that would kill him, which makes it all the more sweet when Zeb helps Ezra break the cuffs and they become friends in All For Fruit!

I really hope you continue this fanfic, it's so good! You could explore more with Ezra's backstory, how he lost his leg, bonding with crew, Aola and Oola's whereabouts, Ezra becoming a Padawan, how he reacts to travelling to different planets, talking to Zeb about the fall of Lasan and so much more!
