That is one cruel cliffhanger ending. I would love to read more someday. It’s a well-written story. You’ve adapted ATLA to the modern world quite well. Zuko is my favorite character, I love his character development and story arc. He may be one of the “bad guys” for much of the show, but he has such depth and a tragic past that makes you like him and sympathize. Great job with this story, it was just the angsty thing I was looking for. I like Zuko and Iroh angsty stories, I love those two, they have a great dynamic. I look forward to more of this story someday!

Good story. I kind of think GAang's support system for Zuko sucked big time. Especially since some of them have an idea that his head is not in a good place. One of them should have at least stayed, that is unless of course they have no plans of keeping him. Aang shouldn't have taken Toph, even if he did want to go to his forever girl. And Iroh wonders why Zuko doesn't trust people care for him?

Also Jet, this is why I don't like modern spins too much. If this was fantasy, Blue Spirit could have seriously kicked butt and be badass about it.

Going back to GAang and Zuko though, I don't think it's healthy for him to have to face that kind of treatment again. With his already horrid social anxiety, being forced to be in the same room as people making him anxious is torture. Hadn't he already done so when he was with his family? As it is, Katara just put Zuko in a terrible setback.. I hope Iroh gets defensive about this. His nephew has already made several self harming attempts, it would be insane for him to force Zuko to be 'friends' again.

I wouldn't be surprised if Zuko made another major attempt at suicide. It's probably expected. How he'll get better, GAang isn't the answer. Or atleast not all of them. Is this a good time for him to learn swordsmanship? I know, pointy objects.. but hey, self discipline? Meditation? Distraction?

Ahhhh so glad to see some new chapters since last time I was here. Glad to see more Aang and Zuko too!

This is one of my favorite chapters! I won’t lie, I really hope Zuko and Aang end up together, but you’re a great writer and I’m sure you’ll make it good no matter what.
