I hope this continues, it's an intriguing setup!

It's more appropriate for a The Witcher (Vydia game) than the book saga. While CD-Project Red's work is simply marvelous and one worthy of the Saga of Geralt, it is ultimately (and as the producers said themselves) a super-elaborate fanfic and an alternate version of the Witcher-verse.
