I really enjoy the interaction between Mycroft and Harry. Subtle nudges, or a hammer when necessary. Waiting eagerly for the next installment.

Why would dumbeldork want harry to learn and be independent? Or did Mycroft have dumbeldork in hand and asked specifically, or did dumbeldork specifical what to show harry and thought he will be followed which Mycroft doesn't?

Awesome. Microft is one of my favorite characters.
Harry will be quite different by the time be gets back to school. It would also be good for him to get lots of ties and connections, especially amongst the wizarding world. Perhaps he should also claim his title as Heir to the Potter family.
