Interesting. Very interesting. You need to add more details to really set the tone and setting of what could be a very intense story. I didn't even know where we were or what happened prior with the gems to make Rose poof. And why was she there anyway instead of Steven? I also think you hinted at a major time skip over a couple of centuries? And what exactly did happen with Bismuth? Where was she in this whole thing? It was really confusing and felt rushed. But you do have a nice idea. Overall, I gave it a follow to see what happens next. You need more background information, the readers can't just fill in the plot holes themselves. We don't know what's going on in your head.

I love how you handled the Diamond's defeat! Let's say instead of shattered Yellow Diamond was poofed by a destabilizer.
