I love that Lahar has a bit more life in him in this story. It makes him a lot more fun to read about in a fanfic.
I also love that he starfishes in his sleep. That was beautiful lolol.

This is such a cute little story and I love that you haven't given Lucy the classic weak strength since she is quite strong.
Also, I love the pairing between Lucy and Lahar because of how stoic and sarcastic Lahar is while Lucy is a kind person but has her feisty side.
If you need recommendations for the temple side of things I say that you should make about four minor obstacles in the start similar to an Indiana Jones vibe so that they are avoiding traps and helping each other out without noticing. For when they find the artifacts, I think what you should do is have like a hoard of spelled mages who got trapped there to only have the objective to protect the place while Lucy and Lahar run around the building, working together to help them and get the artifacts to the village.

I love this story! So, I got sucked into Lahar x Lucy literally this afternoon and I loved his fic!. I hope you can update soon! Also, stay well v

I’m not sure how long it’s been now since you last updated, but this story is absolutely friggen amazing! And I truly hope you do continue with it! I just recently started reading Lahcy (hope I used the right ship name there) and I’m absolutely intrigued and in love with the pairing! Keep up the awesome work with your writing! And trying to get a handle on your depression, I can only imagine how hard it is to handle when you’ve got kids too! But just remember that you’re amazing! (Both as a writer and I’m sure as a mom too!)

Yay! I absolutely love this! I totally understand about how depression interferes with your writing. I don't think a lot of people understand how much of a real toll it takes and how you have to focus on actual real-life stuff you have to do instead of focusing on fanfiction.

YEAH! Awesome chapter, Lovely. I really like the premise of this story, and think that EVERY Council Mage/Rune Knight should have to work in a guild prior to joining the Council/Rune Knights, and that they should also be expected to work as a Guild mage for a month every year to give them a better understanding of what Guild mages deal with on a daily basis. But I agree, things are going to get awkward between Lucy and Lahar; very awkward. Hopefully their mission won't be as awkward as their sleeping arrangements; and that Lucy walks away from it without losing her clothes like she would on a Team Natsu mission. I look forward to seeing how the mission goes.
I don't know about you, Lovely, but I am excited that the anime, even though it will be the FINAL season, is starting back up in a few weeks. I am also still awaiting some fan fic author to write a story predicting what will happen in the NEW series, "100 Year Quest"; if you haven't read any of it yet I'd highly recommend it - it is currently being updated bi-weekly. The only problem I have with "100 Year Quest" is (SPOILER) Mashima has reverted to having Lucy being weak and next to useless in a fight; at least that is how he portrayed her in the latest chapter.
