Just played Firewatch for the first time yesterday... and then played it again! The ending left me craving more and your story has definitely filled the hole that it left. I hope to see more of the story because I have been thoroughly enjoying it. please update and keep up the good writing.

Things are moving a bit fast I think. I know Delilah and Henry had the whole summer to get to know each other (depending on how you play really, but I'm guessing your run through had you being very flirty/positive towards her and you asked her to move with you to Boulder at the end), but I'm sure the physical stuff would still feel very new. That they're this intimate and it doesn't get addressed strikes me as a bit strange, honestly. You're not a bad writer in the least; I just think you could do for exploring the thoughts and feelings of these characters a bit more. Like having Henry or Deliliah both express trepidation at first, but then realising that touching is a lot easier/natural than either anticipated would be a nice show of progression in this relationship. But then that's just my preference. I've always preferred slow burns to relationships as opposed to immediate affections~

Mmm, the other reason why Deliliah hesitated to pursue a romance with Henry was because she honestly thought that he should go back to Julia. I'm just wondering if that's ever going to be addressed? I mean if you intended on fic ending with H/D, that's fine, too! I just think it would do it a disservice to have one of the more interesting emotional obstacles be bypassed. What Brian was to Ned, Julia is to Henry after all...

I think you've captured their voices well enough! Interested to see where this goes. It can easily turn cliche I think.

I haven't read fanfiction in a while, but the draw of Firewatch had me seeking more out, to see what people might've created from it. Unfortunately there are only two authors writing about it as far as I can tell. But I wanted to say thanks for doing it. D and Henry seem to be easy to peg down, but I like the fluff nonetheless. Hope you keep writing.

This is gold. It's great, especially with the lack on content in the Firewatch area. Expanding on Henry's and Delilahs relationship is exactly what I was craving after finishing the game! Please keep it up, it's great so far!
