I read all the way to chapter 14. I like this type of set up. If you do start another story I would consider this set up again, but have it where Danzo is like his canon part yet grooms Naruto to be his heir. He decides to help groom ROOT into a Family structure. The ROOTS are bases spread out for(cells) over the country with the main congregation of leaders go to by sending Shadow clones meeting up with the Shadow clone ROOT Leader(Danzo in this case example). Naruto would be trained from 7 years of age. Danzo has him take missions as an independent while growing his power base around the country after he graduates from the Academy. If he proves successful in having an effective power base he gets to be in charge of ROOT.

This is more as to a supporting key to the story's plot like this one is.

There is a couple of things that I would of rather stayed in character from canon(Hiruzen, Inoichi), but this Madara is a step above the canon version mainly because it actually makes use of his intellect & ruthlessness in approach.

I wonder if Naruto can eventually restart Uzu instead of just saving Konahoa. Are there ones with Orochimaru training at least? Will Tsunade and Jaraiya join Naruto? If Orochimaru realized something was off about Hiruzen maybe the other Sanin did too and it was another reason they don't stay in the village. ?

Is Naruto going to awaken his mom's chains and or learn the Hirashin? He seems pretty good with sealing

I'm enjoying reading this and I am looking forward to reading more. I'm hoping that Naruto gets more of the clan heirs and heads on his side. It would be cool if Shikaku as smart as he is could figure out that Inoichi can't be trusted. It would help them to have him on their side Kakashi would be a great help especially if he learned that the Hokage was really behind the deaths of his father and Minato. They need more powerful people with great minds. It would be even better if they eventually got Nagato on their side too. Since Hiruzen and Madara have gotten 2 more villages involved, Suna and Kiri.. Imagine if It was more villages and they got other jinchuriki and even Damiyo on Naruto's side. Naruto's group could end up changing the entire ninja system by unwittingly supporting him and his group making him a trusted leader in the future. This could go big.
