This story is beautifully written. I was fully pulled in and loved every twist and turn. I enjoyed the character development and overall emotion in this.

Some criticism I have is mostly about the end. I don't quite understand what William did. I expected something else but I felt like there could have been more. To me it seemed like William straight up told Phil to kill himself and left. I felt like the only reason Phil did kill himself was because he wasn't wanted by his metaphorical family. That being said I feel like Foxy and Mike's relationship went by a little quick. She trusted him really quick which was surprising

I love the fact that Auric pushed Mike into temporarily becoming the Joker this chapter. Also Auric being drunk is amusing

This story was amazing, simply put. With my inclinations (read; Furry), any FnaF story involving a romance between the main character and a female Foxy catches my attention, and a story over 80k words, much less 200k, catches my interest. But the story itself hooked me entirely!

First, the plot. It is COMPLETELY original. No other FnaF story features Auric or BRIAR, or such an interesting take on Afton, Springtrap, and so much more. Not only is it original, it's well thought out and well executed, with the readers' emotions flipping from worry, to hope, to happiness, and back to worry again. The romance was realistic (or as much as it can get with a human dating an anthropomorphic animatronic fox lady created by a Lovecraftian-esque Old One) with it's pacing, doubts, and the sheer emotion you can feel in the very writing you created. The action was well-written, with good pacing and breaks to let the reader 'relax' and prevent it from becoming stale, with the filler and fluff scenes providing just as much character development as the actual plot progression!

The characters reacted realistically, and each had their own personality that never blended or mixed with another character, a very common flaw with stories that tend to have several important characters, and while reading the story I fully lost myself to the words you wrote, seeing it all in my mind's eye and forgetting that I was in my room, reading on my phone.

And lastly, the sheer IMMERSION. What you wrote over the span of three years is powerful enough to inspire real emotion in the reader, something that doesn't always happen even with 'official' books. In fact, when I first cracked open this book, it was 10pm. 37 chapters later and it was 2am, and I honestly would have read it all in one to had I not had work the next day at 6am.

Overall? I'd give your story a 13/10 and I'm eagerly awaiting the next book! I deeply hope it follows Mike and Foxy as main characters, but I understand it isn't very likely, something that's understandable as a five part series featuring 100k stories wouldn't be easy to write, much less about the same characters. I know it may be years since the next one comes out, but either way, I can't wait to read whatever you have in store for us in the next chapter of your story! (Get it, chapter?)

I read this, from start to finish, and have to say, this is one of the better fanfiction stories on this site.

I loved Mike and Foxy's slowly-blooming romance, and how they developed genuine trust and love for each other as people. I also liked how you addressed the many complexities of them being different species, and the difficulties of living a life with a mate/lover who is not human.

The complexities of the story and the lore were a real joy to read and watch unfold, and I took great joy in reading and wondering what was going to happen next.

Truth in fact, I had read part of this story (Up to chapter 22) years ago, but life distracted me, and I sadly forgot about this marvelous little gem. I'm so glad happenstance guided me back to it, and that it was finally finished!

I like the cover, and will look into more of the art for it when able.

I will be the first to admit, it takes a special story to make me stick with it for fifty chapters, but yours had me gripped from the first sentence. Your writing was top notch, and your sense of story, pacing, character and everything else was a sheer joy to read.

Also, BRAVO on your research into what the year 2000 was actually like! Either that, or you're as old as I am! ROFL

Amazing story, really enjoyed it

I came into this thinking it was going to be a cringe fest with lemons in the first like 4 chapters, but holy shit I couldn’t be more wrong, I’ve been reading fanfiction for a while now, damn near a decade and I’ve seen some really bad ones...

Saying that, this is one of the single best fanfictions I’ve read in a while, not perfect but man it was damn good, really damn good!

It was interesting if a bit more childish driven than I was expecting.

This was an absolutely fantastic read, great story writing, been awhile since I found such a gem, ironically I binge read most of it while on night-shift myself haha.

It was mature in it's drama and romance, handled showing the human psyche perfectly and really kept you enthralled throughout the story as Mike and Foxy fell in love.

Would love a sequel and even some tales of Foxy the Pirate in the Southern Seas, even as a AU.
