| Guest chapter 4 . 12/5/2018 I’m shocked and, quite frankly, appalled that you’re a librarian and you confuse when to use “than” and when to use “then”. Seriously, a librarian that confuses those two word? Yikes...won’t be visiting your library anytime soon. Then is a moment in time, as in “I will go to the store and THEN go home”. Than is a comparison (the one you wanted when using “then”), as in “I’d rather go home and take a nap THAN go shopping”. Quite simple really, but no one bothers caring anymore. While you may not have a beta, can you not use spellcheck and grammar check? Are you physically incapable of doing so? |
