Oh, I very much enjoyed this story. So nice to see Merlin caring for Gaius, and just a rather normal crisis rather than a magical one. Very refreshing. Thanks for sharing!

i always loved the few glimpses we got, in-series, that merlin was actually good at being a physician's assistant. i thought he deserved to have some skill or talent that arthur could actually observe and applaud him for - and this was a wonderful story showcasing that!

Aww, thank goodness it worked this time. With some help of Rhys and Geoffrey, but yes, Merlin did do it by himself (with some mental assistance from Gwen of course ;-) ) I love how she states; "We'll just have to have faith." That's exactly what Merlin needed. Thank you dear Gwen. :-)

It was also nice you wrote a little Morgana in, and even a note about how Arthur understood Merlin was needed at Gaius' site. He's not such a dollophead after all hey? ;-)

Nice job, congrats again on finishing it. Oh, just one small thing. Would they be able to tell 5 minutes in medieval times? I just wonder... (this is Merlin of course, it's fantasy, anything's possible ;-) )

What a tense chapter, and funny as well. First because Merlin is trying with all his might to make the cures for Gaius, and doesn't know everything, and he falls asleep. Aw. Then when he has to go face Geoffrey which was rather funny, and they find the book. When Merlin runs into the wrong direction, I couldn't help but giggle..

But now... How will this end.

You're really doing a great job with Gwen. The way she starts to clean and reorganise the place, that's exactly what she would do. And awww, Gaius thinks she's Alice. Poor man.
