I'm talking about the avengers thinking theyre all high and mighty, and how dare peter not share his personal life with the dicks who chased him down, kidnapped him, forced him to join their training and stripped away his ability to help people throughout it, and then stuck their noses into his personal information without his knowledge? Id be like *fuuuuck* you! |

| KarisTasogare chapter 9 . 3/17 not sure what to think about this. on one hand, I can see it as a 'culture clash' (1930s mentality vs 1990s). but on the other, it just doesn't ring true. That Cap says 'he could have quit' is quite obviously false, and for him to say it makes him sound either 'blind' to the facts, or making some beyind stupid excuse. Becauise the fact is Peter WAS NOT given a choice about training, as unless he submitted to it, He/they(and maybe SHEILD) wouldnt 'allow' him to be Spiderman. A situation shown by his 'not being allowed' to patrol "until Cap allows it" (which based on what is said and indicated, wont be anytime soon, if ever) Several reveiwers have noted how OOC peter is, as he (at leats how he was in the comics) would rebel against such an obvious attempt to limit his choices. While I can see some varience due to his 'altered' home life, there is a limit and it was very clearly crossed. |
