Ah, another awesome outsider POV. I love the way the outsider's incomplete knowledge compliments and highlights our knowledge of the boys, showing us things we know but maybe don't think of all the time.

I hope Kenny and Cal make it up.

Fabulous story as usual. I love to read an outsider's POV about these brothers whose relationship and job is so unusual to the casual observer. I really liked Kenny - a man who takes responsibility for his actions, accident or not, and did everything he could to help his victim. Loved the way in which Sam was constantly talking to and touching Dean to reassure him that he was there and Dean would be OK. I'm also glad that Sam's words and actions had Kenny rethinking his relationship with his younger brother and was about to reconcile with him.

This was a good read. I always enjoy seeing the brothers from an outsiders perspective and this was no different. I also appreciate a character who knows when they don't actually want to know something!

Really great story! Poor Dean. I'm glad that Kenny felt responsibility for what he did and he helped Sam with drive Dean to the hospital.

You do a wonderful job of writing stories from an outsider's POV as they observe the Winchester brothers. ( I can't think of the title, but also love your story with Hazel who watches her neighbors from the window.)
We all know how much Dean and Sam trust, love and depend on each other. I love how Kenny could see that too.
I had to smile when I read Kenny's thoughts when he first met Sam. Loved his description of a big, worried, and angry guy (brother).
This is definitely a new favorite story.

Oh I love outsider POV and I love this fic! It's so great to get these glimpses of Sam and Dean and there is just this feeling that there is so much more to them and you're just scratching the surface. Great story : )

I'm a bit skeptical of outsider pov fics for many reasons (for instance they can get bogged down with the author's own enthrallment with his/her own pov character) but I know there are some good outsider pov fics written by good authors.
I had a feeling this would be a good one, and it was even better than I expected.
Loved the story and the outsider character and his description of events and especially of course his observations of the brothers... and basically loved all of it.

I haven't read any FF for a while, then this popped into my inbox and I had a few minutes. I'd forgotten how much I love your writing. I particularly enjoyed this one because it was a 'simple' story, which I really miss amidst all the recent seasons' convoluted goings on. I loved the OC who was sympathetic even if he did shoot Dean, and the outsider POV worked brilliantly in showing us the depth of the brotherhood between the boys. Sam here was the Sam I love. You've inspired me to go back and read the dozens of your stories I've missed over the past couple of years.
