Makes sense, especially with the author's note. Though if you continue it maybe do a couple passive powers next so while Harry would be technically stronger he wouldn't have a small armoury of powers... if that's understandable.
Though I wonder if Harry will think on what Herakles meant by the hydra in his scar...

YES! You actually did the acquisition of authorities correct! Most people seem to think you only get one, but you always get AT LEAST one. How many you get is determined by compatibility between the godslayer and the legend, and the heretic god's will. In this case, Heracles and Harry were well-matched, both being Heroes and Harry having completed two of the Twelve Labors. Heracles focusing the gifted authorities on his tools is pretty awesome.

He easily could have gotten other authorities, like maybe something like God Hand from Fate, eleven extra lives plus immunity to what has killed you before. Similarly, Harry could have gotten the rewards from his labors, such as a Golden Apple from Hera's wedding gift, the Golden Fleece, the Blood of the Hydra, a Steed from Diomedes' stables, and such. He could have gained the ability to summon monsters from the labors, such as the Nemean Lion or the Stygian Birds. Hell, he could have just gained the ability to summon an olive-wood club as his Authority.

My only complaint is the weirdness of having to drink milk from a woman's breast to activate his full strength. It makes sense from legends, but it is still weird.

I would actually like to read a continuation of this...

ooohh boy now this here has my interest. Hope you continue it because I am curious to see where this goes.

i really like the concept especially the idea of using Heracles it makes it almost perfect for harry to grow into his power especially since you could make the strength of Heracles as something harry gains more of as he grows older

So how does the rest of this story go

I think this is a good start to one of the most wanted crossovers I've been looking forward to reading for a while, please continue writing this story
