Normally I hate OCS but I absolutely loved Team Brutal, they feel like actual characters not edgy self inserts, I wanna leave a long review but I’m too enthralled and must move on to the next story right away.

I’m not sure if the mega evolution lore was fully clear at the time you wrote this but Mega Evolution didn’t exist until the Ultimate weapon had fired, keystones and mega stones were created as a result of the weapon firing.

I don’t like your use of Rayquaza as some sort of unnatural force attracted to chaos and strife, Rayquaza is a Pokémon who is know for preventing destruction not revelling in it. Maybe you’ll reveal why it’s so OOC I’ll keep reading to hopefully find out.

Even if Merle is deoxys she shouldn’t have been able to take out Squishy like that, Even in 10% form he’s an absolute beast as shown by his wrecking of Team Flare multiple times throughout XYZ

Huh, didn't expect to see Team Brutal back in the mix so soon. Good to see that they're all still friends though. I'm interested in the weird feeling Serena was getting around Ash; it almost seemed to me like he was brushing her off at points? Then again, he did grab her hand at one point, as well, so...I don't know yet.

Also, nice to see a look into the inner workings of the Pokemon League for once. I always thought it'd be fun to watch a conversation break out about Ash between all of these people he's encountered over the years. And, I'm probably wrong, and it's probably just an OC, but I've got it stuck in my head right now that the mystery person who attacked the meeting is J.

Anyway, yeah, I'm finally reading this one now, so, not much else to say until the next one!

Okay this sequel was brilliant and I binge read it all in one day. I loved it so much; now on to the next part of the ancienverse!

I was a bit surprised, though before I finished the sentence I had a fear that he already HAD time traveled, and that Merle was actually just a younger version of his wife. That would've been creepy.
