I know this is super late, but I share a birthday with Bucky! He was the first person I knew who had the same birthday as me and even if he was already my favorite character he became the closest one to me :))

Wow. I love this. I love this conversation and how they both come to an understanding. And I love how Steve finally speaks up for himself about being Steve and not just Captain America. This was so well written. Thank you so much!

Ahhhh after reading a very good team this is especially painful. Civil war is so endlessly heart breaking. man!

Hi! I just wanted to say that I've enjoyed this anthology so far and I can't wait to see what comes next! :)

Oh wow, an ending? Man, I never thought it would come to an end, but I actually loved the endingespecially Shuri. It really does flow into that end credits scene from Black Panther perfectly, and hopefully everything in this story slides into and fits in with Infinity War.

I've really enjoyed reading this story. Thanks for writing it, and I look forward to more of your writings!

Wait... this is the end? The End? Marked complete? Wow. I - for some reason I guess I thought it wouldn’t ever HAVE an end, that it would just keep going. Which makes absolutely no sense now I think about it, but there you have it.

You gave it a good ending though - just enough hope to leave the ending open, but not all hunky-dory and like nothing’s wrong. They’ve made leaps and bounds, and there’s still more to go, but it’s nice that they still have options. Shuri’s cameo appearance was cute. You did oretty near break my heart with Steve’s tear-streaked face though. He needs a hug! Fortunately, he’s got friends for that. :)

Great ending! Perfectly ties in with Black Panther, too. I'm looking forward to IW as well, but more looking forward to when the GotG show up.

oh this was such a perfect ending! i loved the inclusion of shuri! it was so heartbreaking that steve was so disappointed that they had failed bucky. their brotherhood is my favorite relationship

"But you still would have followed my orders blindly."

"Your orders. I don't know about anyone else's." Bucky sounded thoughtful. "If someone tried to get me to attack you again, I don't think it would work." I don't think it would work either. And honestly, though of course I was never subject to Hydra's tortures like Bucky was, I think if Captain America gave me orders, I'd obey w/o question as well. Because he's Captain America and I trust him.

Like how you brought Shuri in. Are the kids in the new village by the river going to start calling Bucky the White Wolf?

I love your title as well-"The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe" is one of my all-time favorite books. I look forward the next update!
