I believe Wander doesn't worship the Gods at the shrines either.

Maybe it's just me, but the transitions between flashback & present aren't well defined. It was only after some confusing dialogue early in the story that I realized Wander was actually having a flashback about Mono, and not that Mono was still alive with him and talking with him...

Other than that, though, this is pretty good.
