I just reread this story. Very satisfying and as you wrote it, it would have been a satisfying ending to the series.

Thank you for this wonderful story. Callie had written such beautiful characters and I hate the way the show lost its way. I'm so grateful to people like you who have filled in the gaping holes and gave us fans the depth of relationships and conversations so lacking in the show. It makes me so sad to always be thinking what might have been. Big sigh...

Chap 10: LOVE the conversations between Deacon and Maddie, Deacon and Rayna, at Dr Voris' office. How I wish you were writing for the show back then! if only the writers had been able to focus on the characters the fans really cared about instead of all the extra people and crap they added. The thought you put into the story and their conversations is just so impressive. Thank you so much!

Rereading Deyna fic because I miss the show so much but I wanted to tell you how very much I've enjoyed how you've written their therapy sessions. In the show, I thought it was such a missed opportunity not go into that more. Connie and Chip would have done an amazing job with it and I would have loved to see Rayna accept some responsibility for their relationship. The history we could have heard...ugh. So thankful for you amazing writers of these stories.
