Ahh this was such an amazing read. I like the take on Alma's fate and how you incorporated the change while making sure you didn't deviate far too much from canon. Those short moments of happiness between the three melted my heart that it broke me when they got separated.

You're writing is truly amazing, I like how you care to write about everyone, giving to life each character no matter how small their role is to the story. I'll be honest and say that your headcanonc are a perfect fit. My eyes are still burning from tears of laughter, sadness, and lack of sleep from reading your work.

Another thing I like from this is that Qin is the realest OC I've ever read. The trope of an OC reborn into their fave series is that they always skirt past their deaths as if it was just some excuse to get teleported to their fave anime. Qin doesn't do that, hence why she keeps Alma and Kanda at arms length at first. The relationship building through the first 20 chapters between the three was beautifully written and the switching POVs (though sometimes confusing at times) made you empathize better with the characters.

Next is the fact that, in my opinion, you're the only person, besides the author of course, who nailed Kanda's character. His trust issues with those around him, his past life seeping into his current life, and his interactions with Alma and Qin were so amazingly written that it makes my heart hurt for him when he did what he did to the letters.

All in all, I. AM. IN. LOVE. with your writing. I can't wait for the next chapter. I've even searched Tumblr just to read the excerpt. I know DGM isn't a series paved with all rainbows and sunshine but dammit I'm hoping for a happy ending for everyone T_T

I'm glad that you don't plan to give up on this story... I think it would be a waste because you have been doing a very good job with the start of the story. I completely understand that you want to rewrite a bit. I rather you write a story you like, then continue forging on with a story that makes you uncomfortable. I think it will be easier to write if you actually like the ideas and plans that you are putting forth. I will always be happy to review and provide feedback, but I know I will continue to enjoy whatever you put out :)

I'm glad my studying tip helped! I hate exams (honestly, I feel like they often turn my hair as white as Allen's lol)! I'm not looking forward to them again coming this January when I start my Masters.

But, if you really do have ideas that you want to add, and judging from how you sound— which is excited by the way, correct me if I'm wrong, then I suppose as a reader who enjoys your work... Iiii can only wait. I mean, you use your free time to write this piece of art, I don't think anyone has the right to force you to write whatever, it's your story! If they don't like it, then perhaps the reader is in a wrong place. They can't expect an author to just change a story according to their expectations and tastes.

Not to ah, sound like I'm expecting a lot but, this kind of makes me a bit excited hehee, I'm looking forward a lot to the ideas you have and want to add.

I think this is one of my favorite chapters so far! A perfect little reunion between Allen and Qin and some hilarious action! I really really love that Kairos is so greedy about food that he would try and get her captured just for Jeryy. It make SO much sense, honestly. My respect for him grows everyday! Lavi is such a wannabe lady's man lol. He messed with the wrong heroine. And in the end she gets captured anyways!

GENIUS *wiggles butt with excitement*

My favorite DGM moments are probably when Kanda and Johnny are bonding and looking for Allen, as well as how protective and downright sweet (for him) our stupid cactus is when he rejoins the exorcists. I just love fun character relationship dynamics! Also when Link visits Allen in his cell and rescues him from Apocryphos, that whole bit is honestly super gorgeously drawn and realized IMO.

Take your time, i'm excited for more but it's worth every second of waiting!

WELCOME BACK!~~ Haha, I almost thought you ran away instead of Qin lol~ Teasing aside, I know how hard course work can get, especially during finals. I liked my courses during my BA, but exams and finals were never my faves hahaha! Make sure you get a lot of rest and spread your studying so that you will aborsb the information better... I found it helpful to study that way; definitely less stressful ;)

The chapter was interesting... main plot is slowing getting into the mix now... I'm truly excited, considering how things are different now for Alma and Yuu... It's always hard to move from canon but at the same time I always like the 'what if'... It was be a journey to see how you take the plot and make the twists~

Hmm... my favourite moment in DGM... that's so hard... I liked the serious moments but I think the comedic moments with Komlin were heartfelt too. I can honestly see Kanda destroying something that touches his soba lol~
